We attach highest priority to the preservation of nature. In each and every business unit of our company we act and operate sustainably. This includes making economic use of natural resources as well as using energy-efficient technologies. Our new company headquarters comply with all requirements of the current Energy Saving Ordinance (EnEV) – we cover our own demand via solar system, the overcapacities being fed into the public power supply, and we use exclusively energy-efficient LED lights. Through close coordination with different freight forwarders, we optimise our transport volume and our logistics. In this way, we ensure seamless delivery of the event technology and avoid additional and single transports. Through communication via video conferences with customers and partners we reduce the number of business trips. We travel to non-local business appointments by rail or by our modern, partly gas-driven company vehicles.

SHAPING THE FUTURE TODAY.
We at LLeyendecker are convinced that a sustainable development of the event sector is only possible with well-qualified personnel. For this reason, we support „100PRO“, the training initiative of the event business that aims to implement a consistent quality standard for the training as a specialist for event technology. In order to take part in shaping the future of the event industry, we are a member in the industry associations VPLT (Verband für Medien und Veranstaltungstechnik/ Association for media and event technology) and DTHG (Deutsche Theatertechnische Gesellschaft/ German Theatre Technical Society). In addition, we support the local economy through our engagement in the Marketing Club Bergisch Land e. V. Social responsibility also rates high in our corporate culture. This is why we support the project “Between worlds” – and integration initiative where young people from Wuppertal create and perform a musical jointly with refugees – with our know-how and equipment.

Leyendecker has been certified since 2010: DPVT (Deutsche Prüfstelle für Veranstaltungstechnik/German Inspection Authority for Event Technology) audited the areas of corporate processes, production workflow, occupational safety and health as well as financial structure and confirmed our high quality level in the technical and commercial area. The seal of approval is an additional proof of safety for our customers to be sure that, with us, their event is in safe, highly professional hands.
DPVT acts as an independent certification authority for the event industry, the main focus being on the professionalisation of this line of business and, as a consequence thereof, on the implementation of quality standards specifically for this sector. > further information about dpvt
